Drayton Manor Theme Park offers special Armed Forces Day prices for Serving Personnel

15 June 2009

Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, is celebrating the UK’s first Armed Forces Day – honouring Britain’s armed forces past, present and future -- by offering all serving military personnel and their families discounted entry.

Serving members of HM Armed Forces, along with their families, can enter for £17 per person (normal price £25) on both Saturday 27th June and Sunday 28th June. Colin Bryan, Managing Director of Drayton Manor Theme Park, commented:

“Britain should be extremely proud of the men and women who serve in the Army, Navy and Air Force. They do a tremendous job throughout the world and deserve our respect and appreciation. Drayton Manor Theme Park is delighted to support Armed Forces’ Day and I look forward to welcoming servicemen and women as well as their families.”

To receive this special offer, a valid military identification card must be presented when purchasing tickets on the day of the visit. This will allow a maximum of four people per ID card to receive the discount.
