Watch the impressive parade of serving military men and women, veteran associations, cadet and youth organisations accompanied by local pipe bands and vintage military vehicles march down Union Street from 11:00 , finishing at the Castlegate.
The parade is a celebration of the history and proud record of the armed forces and allows the people of Aberdeen to show their respect for the role they play within our society.
After the parade from 12:00 bring the whole family to see the Armed Forces Village at the Bridge of Don Barracks which includes: historic military vehicles, camouflage face painting, talk to living historians dressed up in WW1 uniform, handle historical objects from The Gordon Highlanders Museum, fantastic display from the veterans and serving members of the armed forces, Paragon Freefall Display Team, emergency services equipment and vehicles, climbing wall, Wings for Warriors, armed forces charities and more!
Free event parking is available at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, Bridge of Don.
