Armed Forces Day 2019 – Hells Fells 28-30 June 2019
Hells Fells is a family festival in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Hells Fells, is an event to celebrate the very best of our Armed Forces and at the same time raising money to support veterans who have had difficulty adjusting to civilian life.
The camp site opens from 12 Noon 28 June until 5pm on the 30 June 2019.
Friday will entail childrens entertainment, as well as Live music from 3pm, involving local bands.
A wide selection of hot food will be available all weekend, along with the main bar ran by Robinsons Brewery and Gin Cocktails by The Tipsy Filly.
Armed Forces Day begins at 9am on the Saturday, with military equipment displays, Birds of Prey, Children’s activities, Tractor Pull competition, Lancs County v British Army Trial Bike competition, Happy hour and live music all day through to the evening when headline act Ska Face from Blackpool will perform.
Sunday will start with a car boot sale at 7.30am followed by a Fell Race.
Live music will run throughout until 5pm on Sunday.
Static displays all weekend by Help for Heroes, the British Legion and local producers.
Buses will run between Kirkby Lonsdale, the festival site and Sedbergh throughout the weekend.
Car parking is available.
