Armed Forces Day at Stirling School of English
A weeklong exhibition that showcases the art work of current students of the Stirling School of English (Scottish Charity, SC0 29640) and their real lived experiences, economic migrants, refugees but also showcases to the public the ongoing support – collectively they have for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community of today: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets forces by bringing together relevant exhibits that demonstrate real life experiences in the form of case studies, and also through the creative arts by working together with students from different parts of the world. Bringing together different organisations and educational institutions. Providing opportunities for students to break down exclusionary barriers, and to help university and other students gain invaluable work experience to improve their project managing, marketing skills and upskilling them by also engaging them in the design, development and production of this even. But more to the point, demonstrating the importance of integration from a local and global perspective.
