The Royal British Legion Scotland in Partnership with Edinburgh City Council plan to hold an event in Edinburgh to celebrate Armed Forces Day 2022.

A Parade will form up at 10.00am on Saturday the 25th June 2022 at Charlotte Square Edinburgh, the parade will consist of The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland , Royal Air Force Central Scotland Pipes and Drums, Royal British Legion Scotland Standard Bearers, and Veterans, all association and Branch Standards are welcome to attend.

The Parade will step off at approximately 10.15am and will follow a route down the Southern Carriageway of George Street passing a saluting Dias at The Assembly rooms on George St prior to arrival in St Andrew Square at 1030am. On arrival there will be a short address to those in attendance by the Lord Provost, this will be followed on by a programme of entertainment featuring performances by the military Bands in attendance and various other performers which will last for approximately 2-3 hours with refreshments available for the veterans in attendance.

There will also be charities stalls that support the Armed forces, veterans and their families.
