Armed Forces Day raises public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in His Majesty’s Armed Forces.

A FREE event, so come along and have a chat with the local based Windsor Army Reserves (Bolton Road, Windsor)- 94 (Berkshire Yeomanry) Signal Squadron part of 39th Signal Regiment (The Skinners).

This has been an event in the Windsor Calendar for over 40 years ! Taking over Alexandra Gardens in Windsor visitors enjoy a day of quintessential British summer fun! Come to browse the many stalls in our market area, both community and commercial sellers, as well as take time out in the main arena featuring local acts, and schools to performing throughout the day.

Another highlight of the day is the annual Duck Race when were 200+ ducks (toy) are thrown into the river and raced to see which one will cross the line first!
