As part of the Armed Forces Week 2022 I am organising a Support Day here at Stretford Jobcentre on our fourth floor hub to showcase all the support available to veterans in the Trafford area on the 22nd June.

My aim is to have a host of service providers who specialise in supporting our amazing veterans in any and every aspect of their lives all under one roof for one day with the aim of showcasing what we do to so support our Veterans. I also have the recruitment team from City centre attending to run a recruitment session at the same time and allow interested parties to gain some knowledge and lived experience from the Veterans in attendance. I will be turning our fourth floor into a Hive of Armed Forces activity for the day. I am thinking that if I can make this work I will be able to run this on a regular basis and even open the doors to veterans from further afield as some of the providers I deal with are national providers.
