Thursday 30th June 2016: Armed Forces Day (FREE of charge)

10.00am to 3.30pm: Armed Forces displays and information stands – a number of organisations will be represented, offering people the opportunity to find out about the past, present and future of the Armed Services.

This includes:

  • A range of military and civilian support organizations.
  • The World War Two re-enactment society will be there with several military vehicles.
  • Regular Army Stands of Vehicles, information from the Rifles, The Yorkshire Regiment and 1 Close Battalion REME.
  • Museums from The Hough Battery Hartlepool and Victory in Europe Re-enactment Association.
  • Local Regimental Association information stands.
  • Throughout the day Jenny St John WW1/WW2 Singer, Samantha Holden Soprano will be on the Stage, join in the songs.
  • Army reserve stands from 243 Provo Coy, 201 Field Hospital, 124 Recovery and 50 Signals Squadron.
  • Outside Service to the Troops in Stockton Town Centre, with the Salvation Army Band.


Saturday 9th July 2016: Charity Duck Race (FREE of charge)

13:45pm: Enjoy the spectacle of hundreds of bright yellow plastic ducks being launched into the River Tees with all proceeds going to the Freedom Regiments of the Borough. Castlegate Quay
Pirate weekend in association with Stockton Sea Cadets.
