Bradford Bulls RLFC Armed Forces Day

12:00 am to 6:00 pm

On Sunday 23rd June 2019 the Bradford Bulls are holding their annual Armed Forces Day.

This will be held in conjunction with our Betfred Championship fixture against Halifax RLFC.

Curtain Raiser: UK Armed Forces Women v Bradford Bulls Women

We will have the following Military Units in attendance:
• Royal Dragoon Guards
• Light Dragoons
• 2nd Battalion – The Yorkshire Regiment
• 4th Regiment – The Royal Artillery
• 6th Regiment – Royal Logistic Corps
• 4th Battalion – The Yorkshire Regiments Marching Band
• Royal Logistic Corps’ Silver Stars Sky Diving team
• Army Foundation College (AFC) – Harrogate
• Royal Armoured Corps

All the Military units in attendance are based within Yorkshire and recruit from the City of Bradford and its surrounding areas. The units will be showcasing their Regimental or Battalion roles. That being either Armoured Vehicles, Logistic Supply Vehicles, Engineering and various weapon platforms.

The Royal Logistic Corps’ Sky Diving display team will be delivering the match to the day’s VIPs – Andy Reid and Ben Parkinson who were severely injured in separate incidents whilst serving on Operations in Afghanistan.

A Kids Zone will be in place to ensure all the family can have fun and enjoy the day.

The aim of the day is to allow the supporters and the local community the opportunity to show their appreciation and respect for all that the Armed Forces do, on both home soil and overseas.
