Bristol Armed Forces Day
- Queen Square,
The annual Armed Forces Day celebration event gives people from across Bristol an opportunity to show their support and pay tribute to serving troops, veterans, cadets and their families.
There will be a parade through the city centre of regular, reserve, veteran and cadet forces. The parade will march from College Green at 10am and make its way to Queen Square where an outdoor drumhead service (the traditional form for a religious service attended by troops in the field) will take place in the presence of the Lord Mayor and the Lord Lieutenant of Bristol.
The day promises to be a great free fun day out for all the family with children’s activities, live entertainment, refreshments, military information stalls and vehicle and equipment displays.
