Weston Turville — 27 June 2015
Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Armed Forces Day 2015
- Aylesbury Rugby Club ,
Brook End ,
On Saturday 27th June 2015 from 13.00 – 19.00, Aylesbury Rugby Club in Weston Turville (HP22 5RN) will host Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Armed Forces Day. There are a wide range of activities planned for this exciting family day out, which include an air show, fun fair, live music, craft stalls, children’s activities, beer tent, food, zip wire, retired military horses (from the Horse Trust) and a fantastic display from the Canine Partners and much, much more!
We are expecting 10,000 people from across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes to attend the event. Members of the Armed Forces will be able to attend for free as a thank you from the local community; this includes Veterans, Reservists, Cadets, Forces Families and Serving Personnel. This year we want our event to be bigger and better than ever and we want you to be a part of it!
We are excited to announce the WW1 village, alongside “Shirley” the replica tank – with actors bringing to life the experiences of life as a WW1 gunner and driver.
The Air Show will start at 4pm with an hour of exhilarating aerobatic displays followed by the ever popular Ska Souls to round off the event.
