This is a Gala Dinner event where we will be hosting guests to raise awareness of Building Heroes , a registered Tri-Military to Construction Charity that works to help those that have kept us safe with a seamless transition into the civilian workplace through training leading to a gateway of construction employment opportunities. Established in 2014, Building Heroes is dedicated to service leavers, veterans, reservists and military families. We provide training and employment support into a new career in construction by equipping individuals with a broad range of trade skills and then connecting them with a network of employers. The evening will be an opportunity to gather our supporters, graduates from our courses, and colleagues within education and industry, to celebrate the charity’s journey and successes to date. It will also be an opportunity to invite industry colleagues that have yet to get involved with Armed Forces charities and provide them with inspirational talks from veteran graduates and a member of His Majesty’s Government, and share information of the essential need to support of military service leavers, veterans and families as they move from service to civilian life, building a greater awareness of the charity and how we can work with the construction and built environment industry to support our military community.
