The event is to bring together armed forces personnel to celebrate Armed Forces Day, meet each other, find out what support and activities are available to forces families in the town and participate in taster sessions. Activities will be specifically designed for military families but will also enable visitors to the town’s Carnival (which is on the same day but in a different location and at a different time) to learn more about the armed forces, specifically those bases in and around the local area.
