Glasgow will mark Armed Forces Week beginning on Monday 20th June with an official Flag Raising Ceremony on George Square at 10.30am. All public are welcome.
The Lord Lieutenant and Glasgow representatives will visit a number of Armed Forces and Veteran organisations throughout Armed Forces Week.
On Armed Forces Day ,Saturday 25th June, a number of Armed Forces, veteran, cadet organisations will be invited to attend a Civic Reception hosted by Glasgow City Council. A special event to thank all our Armed Forces.
