Come along to our free family fun event, join us for an afternoon of entertainment. We will be joined by standard bearers, and local veterans as we show our gratitude to our past, present and future armed forces. It promises to be a fun filled day with something for everyone.

The aims and objectives of the CSMBC Armed Forces Day Celebration Event will be to:
-Recognise, raise awareness and say ‘thank you’ for the contribution made by the Armed Forces, including
Regulars, Reservists, Veterans and Cadets.
-Give the Armed Forces the opportunity to thank our Community for its support.
-Promote ‘Diversity’ and represent members of the Armed Forces community from the full range of ethnic, gender and age groups.
-Stimulate and appeal to the younger members of our community.
-Involve the widest possible audience, to raise public awareness of the Armed Forces community.
-Show local veterans from a diverse range of ethnic backgrounds that they are valued and respected.
-Educate people from the local community about the Armed Forces and leave them knowing that their support is necessary and very much appreciated.
-Promote and publicise the support available for the whole Armed Forces Community, including support for Service personnel, their families, widows and veterans.
-Educate visitors about how they can support the Armed Forces, including support through the Armed Forces Day campaign using ‘#SaluteOurForces’.
-Acknowledge the contribution of Veterans and their role within the local community.
-Provide a fun, active, educational and enjoyable day out for all the family.
