Darlington Borough Council’s yearly event, featuring standards on parade, a procession of serving military and military associations, parade inspections by the Mayor, Dept Lord Lt and OC 50 Squadron Royal Signals, exhortations delivered by the Royal British Legion and the traditional minute’s silence. Any and all residents are welcome to attend in the Market Square and local primary school children will also be attending with teachers.
