Ripon Armed Forces Day

On Friday 26 June 2015 there will be an Armed Forces Day Concert in the Holy Trinity Church starting at 7.30 pm, featuring award winning Ripon City Band and the Dishforth WAGs Choir in the Holy Trinity Church. Tickets, on the door, are only £5 per head.
On Saturday 27 June 2015 from 10 a.m. the whole of the Ripon market square will be filled with static displays from veterans and cadets of all three Services; a Sea Cadet marching band, breach a minefield with the Army Cadets, a Drill display by the Air Cadets.
There will also be St John Ambulance, WWI stand, H4H, HMS Heroes, Diving For All, and Guides plus the West Yorkshire Brass Band will be playing throughout the day. The presentations to veterans and cadets, will then be followed by a Drumhead Service; completed by a fly past [TBC] of a Spitfire from the Battle Britain Memorial Flight.
The children have not been forgotten and there will be a Climbing Tower, Bouncy Castle and a Caving Experience.
