South Gloucester Armed Forces Day
- 20 Church Rd
Bristol BS35 1EL
South Glos ‘annual Armed Forces Day event is free to attend for all, as we show our gratitude and appreciation to our past, present and future military forces from air, land and sea units.
On the day there’s a parade including veterans, cadet groups, bands and military vehicles. The procession ends in the park, where a drumhead ceremony is held by a local padre.
There’s always a wide variety of stalls, stands and activities, including a large number of military vehicles and weapons from the past and present. The day also includes performances from singers and bands. We are supported by a number of military and community groups, including the Abbeywood HIVE, 105 REME Battalion, Bristol Military Wives Choir, City & County of Bristol Army Cadets, Air Cadets and many more.
