Service personnel from the three main military bases in Suffolk will be on parade to receive thanks from local dignitaries on behalf of the people of Suffolk for the service and sacrifice the Armed Forces make on behalf of the nation. Veterans and cadets will also be present and there will be stalls from military charities and organisations to provide information. Service families and the public will be welcomed to the event in the lovely setting of Elmhurst Park in Woodbridge close to the river Deben. There will be refreshments and food available or bring a picnic. There will also be a band, and entertainer for the children.
