The Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend is a celebration of our city’s serving and veteran personnel and their families.
Over the weekend there will be various performances from local and regional acts. There will also be numerous military associations and charities attending and over 70 market stalls not including street food vendors. We will also have a fun fair, military vehicle enthusiasts and a visit from Darth Vader and his storm troopers along with displays throughout the weekend from Historia Normanis who will set up a 13th century encampment.
UK strong men will be holding their qualifying and Arcadia Wrestling will be putting on some great British wrestling bouts for us all to enjoy.
Our Sunday morning dog show is expected to be a huge hit again – don’t forget to register for your four legged friends chance to win a rosette.
