Supporting our Armed Forces community -from past to present
Milford Haven SA73 1TH
We will present interactive activities to demonstrate how the Armed Forces were supported by the families and wider community in Neyland, comparing the beginning of the last century to what that looks like today.
Through interactive music demonstrations, where the school community can participate in singing activities.
Food will be celebrated through a giant picnic and looking at WWII rationing recipes.
Showcasing how the school supports our service families – through reading dogs, creative arts, ELSA and using technology and more.
In addition, we will involve representatives from our local Army Barracks, veterans charities and local community groups. We will use the opportunity to host fundraising opportunities to our favourite charities that support the school service community – NSPCC, Reading dogs, Cerebra
The school will be decorated and themed accordingly to welcome our school community into the celebration of everyone’s contribution to supporting the armed forces.
