The Armed Forces Breakfast Event
Black Country Chamber of Commerce appreciates the contribution that Reservists make to our Armed Forces Reservists. They give up their spare time to serve in the Reserve Forces, balancing their civilian life with a military career to ensure that should their country require them, they would be ready to serve as part of the military. The annual Reserves Day was created to highlight and recognise the valuable contribution Reservists make to our Armed Forces.
Black Country Chamber of Commerce are pleased this year to hold the Annual Reservist Day breakfast at The Army Reserve Centre in West Bromwich.
This is our first opportunity to see inside the Reserve Centre and to meet local reservists and local employers employing reservists and find out more about the benefits this collaboration can bring to your workplace.
The Breakfast Networking Meeting will be an opportunity to…
Find out about how your business can benefit from the skills and personal attributes brought by service leavers, Reservists and their families
Gain a better understanding of the Armed Forces in our community and workplace
Talk to real service people and see how the Armed Forces work
Learn how each one of us can play our part in supporting the Armed Forces through our business
Network with other local employers
Show your appreciation for our Armed Forces and their Families
The Reserve Forces make up approximately one sixth of our Armed Forces personnel and as such are integral to protecting the nation’s security at home and overseas, particularly providing capability in specialist areas such as medical and cyber. Reservists gain training and experiences far beyond their workplace which add to their contribution to the workplace.
