Trooping the Colour and Freedom Ceremony

Celebrating the enduring connection between the Army Reserves and Banbury community, this year the town plays host to the BAND OF THE IRISH GUARDS .
Accompanied by the world-renowned band, 142 Vehicle Squadron Royal Logistics Corps will again Troop the Colour of the Queen’s Own Oxfordshire Hussars, Winston Churchill’s unit for 13 years as a reservist. This year the special privilege of the FREEDOM OF THE TOWN OF BANBURY will be granted to the Squadron during the Trooping Ceremony at Whately Hall.
