Wyvern 18: 100 Years Behind the
Red Brick Wall

The centenary of the end of the First World War provides an opportunity and focus to deliver a large-scale community event which explains the purpose of Wyvern Barracks, its role in the First World War, the role of the Devon soldiers and in doing so explain to the local community how and why the Army remains relevant today.

Wyvern 18 is a celebration of this history. Join us behind the red brick wall in Wyvern Barracks, Exeter as we celebrate over 100 years of history from the First World War to the present day. BBC Radio Devon’s David Fitzgerald will walk us through history with a little help from local bands, schools, cadets and even Show of Hands (Thursday and Friday only). There will be food, drink and activities on hand from 5.30pm daily with support from the Exeter Brewery. Come and join us!
