Brighton & Hove Council are pleased to mark Armed Forces Day 2024 by hosting a Sunday afternoon concert in our beautifully restored vintage seaside Band Stand with the famous Sussex based Burgess Hill Military Marching Youth Band.
They present two half hour concerts of well known music, a celebration of popular and military band music that raised morale and kept the residents of Sussex and Great Britain singing during the long hard years of the Second World War. The band are big, bold and beautiful and create a wonderful nostalgic and rhythmic sound.
Come join us, grab a deck chair, drink, sit back and enjoy this vibrant free concert.

The Mayor of Brighton and Hove will open the concert, arriving together with veterans from the Royal Sussex Regiment who will be attending the Boars Head Remembrance event in the city centre that morning.
