Redcar & Cleveland Armed Forces Day event 2024 will take place Saturday June 29th, on High Street, Redcar.
The day will officially commence at 10.30am with a parade of military personnel, both past and present, marching along the High Street toward the King Edward VII Memorial Clock for the official opening ceremony.
The High Street will have a range of stalls hosted by military and local civilian charities, there will be entertainment throughout the day with musicians and singers, military pipes and drums, cadet drill displays and children’s activities – making this a fun-packed event for all ages, with refreshments available throughout the day.
The event, which finishes at 3.30pm, is organised by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council in partnership with Royal British Legion Redcar Branch, Redcar Rotary Club, and RCVDA.
Armed Forces Day is the town’s chance to show its appreciation for our armed forces, past, present, and future, and we look forward to seeing you there.
