Residents will enjoy a 1940’s afternoon tea, with wartime fancy dress optional, while a ukulele play a variety of songs from the era. Several of the residents in attendance were in the armed forces, as well as close family members and friends, so this is a great opportunity to celebrate their links. Violet Hill Court is also a Housing 21 property which was founded by the Royal British Legion so residents feel it is important to mark the occasion of VE Day and Armed Forces Day.
