Plymouth Armed Forces Curry & Quiz Night 2026

Our Armed Forces Day Curry & Quiz Night will be a free, community-based “thank you” event bringing together serving personnel, veterans, cadets and their families for an informal and welcoming celebration of the Armed Forces community.

The evening will provide an opportunity for different generations of the Armed Forces Family to connect through shared experiences, light-hearted service-themed quiz rounds, and positive service banter in a relaxed and supportive environment. By creating space for social connection, we aim to strengthen community bonds, reduce isolation, and publicly recognise the contribution and sacrifices made by today’s serving Armed Forces personnel and their families.

The event will also include information and resources promoting Armed Forces wellbeing and maintaining social connections. These elements will support the wider purpose of connecting the community and offering practical guidance and support to the Armed Forces Family.

The event is not centred on fundraising or recruitment, but on appreciation, recognition and meaningful connection within the Armed Forces community. It will provide free access to members of the Armed Forces Family and create a visible opportunity for the wider community to show their support.

This event will provide a meaningful and enjoyable way for the local community to come together and say “thank you” to our Armed Forces Family.
