South Shields — 21 June 2015
Armed Forces Day
- Sea Road,
This is the 7th year we have held this event and it has always been very successful. The event starts with a procession of motorcycles along the seafront and into the park, followed by the troops marching into the park supported by military bands. At the event there are various military charity stands, kiddies funfair, displays of military vehicles, and hundreds of motorcycles, as well as entertainment all day for children and adults, including live rock bands. We have parking facilities for disabled badge holders, and there are numerous car parks in the vicinity.
The event is designed as a family day out, and to raise awareness of our military personnel. The event is organised by the Bad-Landers Motorcycle Club, with the support of other motorcycle clubs from the North-East and other parts of the country.
