This will be Walsall Council’s First Armed Forces Day event and will be free. A day to celebrate and say “Thank you” to our Armed Forces Community whilst raising awareness. We intend to have a military parade made up of serving personnel, cadets, veterans and standard bearers. We will also have representation from the West Midlands Lieutenancy. We will have information stands and activities from military charities and organisations which will offer support and awareness. We will have small funfair rides and inflatables. There will be a range of food stalls and live music performances from local artists. There will be military vehicles, emergency service involvement and some interactive activities.
