Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council will mark Armed Forces Day 2026 with a civic Armed Forces Day Flag Raising Ceremony honouring the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadet forces, and military families.

The ceremony will take place outside Blackburn Town Hall on Monday 22 June 2026 from 10:50am to 11:15am.

The event will bring together civic representatives, members of the Armed Forces community, emergency services, cadet organisations, veterans’ associations, and invited guests in recognition of the dedication, professionalism, and contribution of those who serve or have served in His Majesty’s Armed Forces.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and join Blackburn with Darwen in showing support for the Armed Forces community.
