Following the success of Hull’s Armed Forces Day in 2025 Hull City Council are proud to deliver an Armed Forces Day Event on Saturday 27th June 2026 which will be free of charge for the public to attend. The event will take place in Queen Victoria Square, Paragon Street and King Edward Street in Hull City Centre. Working with local regiments in Hull and the East Yorkshire Region we plan to have various military vehicles on display. A large marquee will house Veterans and local military charity organisations with displays informing the public of their work within the community and giving the public a chance to talk face to face with different organisations. The event will also have display and attractions from local cadet groups and blue light services again allowing the public to engage with the local offer. Families will be able to take part in the attractions and children’s workshops including face painting and balloon modelling. We will once again have a main stage with entertainment all day which will be positioned outside the Maritime Museum. All attractions will be free of charge and the event will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm.
