North East Lincolnshire’s Armed Forces Day 2026 (AFD26) will again be held over a 3-day period commencing Friday 26TH June through Sunday 28th June with our formal AFD being held on Saturday 27th June. AFD26 and previous events have been successfully delivered since 2011 and continued to attract huge numbers and now seen as the areas flag-ship event and a unifier in keeping the UK Armed Forces Community (Serving military, reservists, veterans and cadets with their families) in the public eye. This is an entirely free event and will include a full programme of activities covering the whole of the seafront at Cleethorpes with parades, entertainment, flying displays and capability demonstrations to capture and build on public support for our armed forces community. Our armed forces weekend will focus on showing thanks the men and women of our armed forces, highlighting and raising awareness of the vital works done, and show support for the UK Armed Forces and the important works they do across the Globe. A full detailed programme will be published and will be distributed when approved by our Events Safety Advisory Group, Police and Emergency Services forum, our website will continue to update information regularly. AFD26 flags will be raised on all major public buildings across the North East Lincolnshire for 14 days.
