On the last Saturday in June thousands of people around Britain join together every year to mark Armed Forces Day, a nationwide celebration to honour the work of the British Armed Forces. In Nottinghamshire one of the biggest events takes place in West Bridgford at Rushcliffe Borough Council’s free annual Armed Forces Proms in the Park outdoor concert.

In addition the outdoor concert also gives people a chance to support local Armed Forces and meet a variety of representatives.
