The Armed Forces Day 2026 celebration at Milestones Museum will be a large scale community event designed to honour the service of Regulars, Reserves, Veterans, and Cadet forces from the wider Basingstoke area. Milestones provides an historic, immersive backdrop that reflects Britain’s wartime heritage and offers an ideal setting to bring military organisations and the local community together.
The event will showcase a strong mix of heritage, modern service representation, education, music, military culture, and family engagement, encouraging visitors to meet members of the Armed Forces community in an informal and welcoming environment.

In addition we will work with Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to host an internal events for service users and staff which will include tea and coffee mornings across Basingstoke, Winchester, and Andover, open to staff, patients, and volunteers, featuring refreshments, information stands, and engagement with the Armed Forces community. The Trust will also launch the ASK campaign with posters, digital communications, frontline engagement, and staff guides. Awareness materials such as banners, posters, patient‑facing information, and military flag displays will be placed across sites.
