Commencing with a short service led by the vicar of Bolton and involving the Bolton Sea Cadets to raise their flag on their mobile ships mast. Lots of stalls offering a wide range of advice and services relating to serving members of our armed forces and veterans. Free family fun activities. Bolton cadets on parade and carrying out drills. Competition for the cadets to compete against each other. Military vehicles and equipment. Bolton’s local 216 Royal Artillery will be in attendance with their guns and recruitment trailer.
Event ends with our sunset ceremony where we lower the armed forces day flag off the town hall.
This national day is to show support for our armed forces and veterans.
