This is a free to enter event for all to celebrate the role of the Armed Forces in Britain’s daily life. Free parking is available as is bus transport to the event.
The day will consist of military displays and vehicles, interaction with various military activities including rifle, axe throwing and archery. Military bands will play to entertain the public and there will be food and beverage stalls and camouflage and concealment with the local Cadet forces. Re-enactment of the Battle of Sedgemoor by the Sealed Know Society and Battle of Britain display including a replica Spitfire and exhibition.
Military vehicles of all sorts will be on display together with local reserve units such as Army Air Corps.
The event is supported by local businesses who are members of the Military Covenant from bronze through to gold level and we expect the local authority to sign up to the covenant at the event.
