We are holding our 2nd Armed Forces Day in Cambridge which is organised by a group of local veterans and is open to everybody to come and celebrate Armed Forces Day. There will be food stalls, ice cream van, craft stalls, tombola stalls, militaria stalls and displays, classic cars and a children’s fun corner including bouncy castles, laser tag and rides. Entertainment includes a 40’s singer, dancers, drummers and a cadet band. There will also be a Freedom of the City parade by HMS Protector a Royal Navy ice patrol ship. The big wheel will also be open and there will be a fly past (weather permitting).
In addition to the above a military village comprising of regular and reserve forces, USAF Forces and fire brigade, armed forces associations and support organisations local government departments, local community groups and local businesses.
