The Historic Dockyard Chatham will proudly host Armed Forces Day 2026. This will be a FREE event honouring the brave men and women who serve in our Armed Forces.
As one of Britain’s most significant military locations, the Historic Dockyard Chatham provides the perfect setting to celebrate, commemorate, and show support for our Armed Forces, both past and present.
The day will be filled with family-friendly entertainment and historic tributes that showcase the courage, history, and heritage of our Armed Forces. Event highlights include a Military Parade featuring serving personnel, veterans, and cadets. Military Vehicles & Displays offering an up close look at equipment past and present. Visitors can look forward to live music performances throughout the day, interactive have a go activities, exploration of the Dockyard’s Rich Naval History through immersive galleries, ships, and exhibits.
With a Royal Navy shipbuilding legacy dating back to the mid 1500s, the dockyard perfectly reflects Medway’s deep and enduring connection to the armed services, making it an ideal setting to honour their dedication and achievements.
