There will be a large parade which forms at The Plains, Bury Road, Chingford before marching off along Station Road finishing at The Green, E4. The parade will then be formally dismissed on The Green and the family fun day will then begin. The whole event is free to attend. The parade will consist of serving military personnel, veterans, RBL standard bearers, Chelsea Pensioners, cadets from all three uniformed services, as well as veterans from the emergency services, vintage military vehicles, pipe and drum bands and mounted branch. Various veteran organisations and groups will also be in the parade along with councillors, local mayor and other dignitaries. The family fun day will consist of music, various stalls, entertainment and displays.
