Dorothy House Hospice Care will host a community Armed Forces Day gathering on 20 June to recognise and celebrate serving personnel, veterans, reservists and the families who support military life.

The event will provide a relaxed, inclusive outdoor environment where the Armed Forces community, hospice patients, families, staff, volunteers and the wider public can come together. The day will take the form of a community picnic-style gathering, featuring performances from the Military Wives Choir, lawn games, a small craft and community market, and opportunities to connect with local Armed Forces support organisations.

A quiet reflection space will also be available to acknowledge service and remembrance in a respectful hospice setting.
