Glasgow will mark Armed Forces Day 2026 with a special event at the City of Glasgow College Riverside Campus on Saturday 27 June, inviting members of the public to join in celebrating the service and dedication of the UK’s Armed Forces.
While George Square remains under redevelopment and will not host the traditional civic event this year, the city will continue its proud tradition of raising the Armed Forces Flag on Armed Forces Day, Monday 22 June.
The Riverside Campus event will run from 12 noon to 3pm and feature information stands, family-friendly activities, refreshments, and opportunities to meet and engage with serving personnel and veterans.
Entertainment will be provided by West of Scotland Military Wives Choir and big band sounds from Swing Sensations.
