Hosted by volunteers of Harehills Park Bowling Club we would love to celebrate with you and introduce you to Crown Green Bowling. All local cadette groups and ex serviceman (or current and their families) are invited to come along. Harehills Park Bowling Club est 1906 will celebrate Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27th June, 11am – 6pm, with a free event taking place on and around Harehills Park bowling greens. The day will be buzzing with a party atmosphere include a variety of bowling opportunities, with fun targets alongside the traditional game of crown green bowling making it suitable for all the family! There will be a selection of adapted equipment including our Bowls Royce wheelchair enabling people of all abilities to take part. We will have a small exhibition showing the history of Crown Green Bowling and that of Harehills Park bowling club through the years to more recent years. There will be a host of stalls and different activities for the whole family to get involved with from age 3 to 103 and the opportunity to watch a live game between Harehills Park and Crossgates Recreation Club from 2pm. There will be refreshments and ofcourse cake!
