We want to celebrate our Armed forces with our customers and visitors to the Metrocentre on this special day of recognition. Average visitors for a Saturday is around 50 – 60 Thousand so great exposure to the community for our Armed forces. We have already secured the services of the Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and both 3 RHA and 101 Reservist Regiment Royal Artillery will be supporting with vehicle displays outside the main entrance to the centre. Plan for the day is to have the band perform in our main exhibition square located in the centre of the Shopping mall. Also have static pop ups from Regiments based in the North East and surrounding areas displaying Regimental history etc. 2 x Jackal Recce vehicles parked outside one of the entrances to the centre with the crews dressed in Military uniform and equipment.
