The Event is a celebration of our Armed Forces in the community. We live in a rural area and have a high proportion of both Veterans and Armed Forces personnel living locally. The event will have re enactors displaying in the form of a time line from medieval masters at Arms up to WW2, we have the Armed Forces Cadets units coming to display all they do. The event has live music being performed by three bands and a solo singer along side a Veterans Choir. Military vehicles, Motorcycle Club and classic cars along side the local Tractor Club. Bouncy castles and ice cream. The event has lots of local representation of charities like the Rotary and branches of the RBL having display stands also a lot of the sport clubs football and rugby teams with games for the children. Food and drink vendors and so much more. We are disabled friendly with access to all areas, we have disabled toilets on site and parking for many cars. The event can be accessed via Mistley Railway station and is a 10 minute walk from the station. It is a proper family event bringing all the local community together of which the CO11 postcode has over 9.400 people in the area now so we are expecting a really high turnout.
