Mumbles Armed Forces Day – Sunday 5th July, Underhill Park 10am to 4pm

Join us at Underhill Park in Mumbles on Sunday 5th July for a special Armed Forces Day celebration, beginning with a parade through the village. The event will bring together local armed forces groups, squadrons, cadets, veterans’ organisations and charities to honour and celebrate the service and dedication of our armed forces community.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy displays, activities and stalls hosted by locakl organisations and community groups.

DRAFT Event Schedule
10.00 – 10.50 Choir
11.00 – 12.00 Parade – from Oystermouth Carpark
The parade will consist of military personnel, cadets and. veterans and will be
led maybe by Cwmbran Pipes and Drums.
12.10 – 13.00 Event opening – Military / Brass Band?
13.00 – 14.30 Choir/ Military Band
14.00 – 14.30 Armed Forces display / speeches etc
Best Cadet Presentation?
14.30 – 14.45 Bagpipes leading into…
14.45 – 15.00 Drumhead Service
16.00 Event closes

It’s a chance for the community to come together, show support for serving personnel, veterans and their families, and enjoy a day of remembrance, pride and community spirit in the heart of Mumbles.
