The Solihull Armed Forces Celebration Day is designed to celebrate serving personnel, reservists, cadets, veterans and their families.
Local veterans and serving personnel will take part in filmed interviews and story sharing sessions with young people. These conversations – highlighting the realities, achievements and positive aspects of service life – will be brought together into a public showcase in Solihull’s Touchwood Shopping Centre as well as the town centre on Saturday 27 June.
The day will include:
• Veteran and serving personnel story exhibition
• Participation from local partners and community organisations
• Engagement opportunities for members of the Armed Forces Family
• Craft stalls
• Meet and greet spaces and community stalls and many more!
This event is free to attend and its purpose is to thank the Armed Forces community and create meaningful connections between the public and those who serve and have served.
