Southport Armed Forces Day returns on Sunday 28 June 2026, and this year promises to be our biggest and most vibrant celebration yet.

Following the incredible growth of recent years, the event is moving to a new and expanded home across King’s Gardens, creating a spectacular setting for a full day of military displays, family‑friendly activities, live entertainment, and community celebration. Visitors can look forward to an exciting programme featuring serving personnel, veterans, cadets, military vehicles, demonstrations, and performances—showcasing the very best of our Armed Forces and honouring all who serve.

But Armed Forces Day 2026 doesn’t stop there. This year, the celebrations will extend across the whole of Southport with a range of satellite events running throughout the town. The Atkinson on Lord Street will host special exhibitions and themed activities, while local attractions, venues, and community groups will be putting on their own events to ensure that the entire town becomes part of the occasion. Whether you’re exploring the waterfront, enjoying cultural displays, or taking part in one of the themed experiences, there will be something for everyone.
