The Torrevieja Armed Forces Breakfast Club in Association with Torrevieja Branch of The Royal British Legion and Spain District North will be holding a Commemoration and Celebration of our Armed Forces and Veterans.

The Ambassador Sir Alex Ellis CMG has been invited as our VIP Guest to take the Salute.

Event Details
· Date: Saturday, 27th June 2026
· Time: 17:00 Hrs
· Location: Plaza de la Constitución, Torrevieja
Participation and Invitations
· SDN is requested to invite the British Ambassador to Spain. An early response regarding acceptance or decline is essential to facilitate further invitations and confirmations for appropriate representation from Torrevieja, coordinated by Jean Paul.

· If the Ambassador is unavailable, a suitable British Military representative, such as the Defence Attaché (DA), is requested. SDN Chair is asked to lead on this invitation as soon as possible.

· District Padre will be invited to provide an appropriate Blessing during the event.

· All Branch Standard Bearers will be encouraged to participate as per the District Parade Marshal’s Ceremonial Instruction to follow in due course.

· All Association Standard Bearers will also be invited to attend as above via the District PM.

· Invitations will be extended to British and Spanish Armed Forces & Veterans, with Spanish Armed Forces invitations managed by Jean Paul, British with the assistance of the DA via SDN Chair.

· Emergency Services will be invited to join the Parade of Standards, lead Jean Paul.

· Torrevieja Pipes & Drums will be requested to participate, with coordination handled by the Torrevieja Vice Chair.

· Phoenix International School will be invited to contribute a poem presented by two students, organised by the Torrevieja Vice Chair.

The above is a rough outline and depending on a positive funding application more will be added.

The event will be advertised on both the AF&VBC Torrevieja and all Branches of TRBL in Spain District North (SDN)
