Armed Forces Day 2026 in Stockton is envisioned as a warm, inclusive and hopeful outdoor celebration that balances ceremonial respect with contemporary creativity. The much-loved event will also showcase new Waterfront Park, a powerful setting for connection and civic pride.
The event will amplify local voices and human stories of Armed forces, honouring serving personnel, veterans, cadets and families, while also inviting the wider public to better come together and experience civic connectivity, wellbeing. Visitors will experience music, celebration and be invited to participate in activities throughout the event inspired by the Armed Forces Covenant.
Content blends reflective moments (thanks, commemoration, visibility of services) with vibrant cultural programming, music, writing, installations, performance, exhibitions and participatory activities, designed to be intergenerational and accessible.
